Experience
I'm a tutor who is based out of Madison, Wisconsin, where I enjoy reading, going hiking, and exploring new places when I'm not in the classroom working with students. I have my bachelor's degree in English literature from the University of Wisconsin, and currently attend Edgewood College where I'm working towards getting my English teaching license in secondary education. I have experience working with students in kindergarten, but would ultimately like to teach either middle or high school. I have experience working with students at a local community center, where I tutor elementary-aged international students in a variety of math, reading, and writing coursework. Through my experience I've come across many different students with different goals and skill levels. As a tutor I strive to help all of my students reach their goals, no matter what they are. I take a collaborative approach towards working with students, and work together with the student to build strategies and methods for success.
